Our New Pir Vilayat Digital Archive Manager!

Our New Pir Vilayat Digital Archive Manager!

We are very pleased to announce that we have a new Pir Vilayat Digital Archive Manager, Avraham Kyle Maistri, a devoted student and emergent leader on the Inayatiyya path.

Avraham has already begun and is focused on getting our searchable Pir Vilayat digital archive ready for launch by Pir Vilayat’s Urs, June 17th, 2024. He is closely collaborating with the Pir Vilayat Digital Archive Council.

Avraham’s short biography is shared below. Welcome, Avraham!

Avraham Kyle Maistri was initiated into the Inayatiyya in 2013 while living at the Abode, where he also graduated from Suluk Academy (Jabalqa).

Sparked by profound retreat experiences of awakening and illumination facilitated by recordings of guided meditations led by Pir Vilayat Inayat Khan, Avraham felt called to serve the PVIK Digital Archive Project in order to ensure access to this powerful form of direct transmission for future generations.

Avi, as his close friends call him, is a hobby writer, low-budget traveler, distance runner, and practitioner of yoga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He aspires to start a regenerative farm and spiritual center in his home state of Florida.

He draws on his background of working on and leading teams in diverse settings, ranging from consensus governance meetings for intentional communities to emergency response teams for the United States Air Force, in his role as PVIK Digital Archive Manager.
